That was my Youtube.

Was off it for about an hour there and went on MSN, just popped over to check me Mail (expecting to get about 7 Coments or so) and what do I get?

The Youtube 'Not A User' Page where it shows Featured Videos and ****.
So I clicked on log in, and typed in me Username and ****, and what do I get?

Sorry this account has been Terminaited

Im so pissed off,
This is all to do with Youtubes shitty little Copyrighting Bollocks.

Its ruining the site.
A Friend of mine who also uploaded Sims Big Brother, got her account deleted a few weeks ago because of BB Uploads, so I knew I would probley be next.

And I was right, thankfully I made a Backup account last week, but its gona take me a ****ing while getting all my Subscribers back :(

And 400 Videos that I put Hardwork into, have been Deleted from the site.

So they sent me a Email just now saying somthing like..

"Hello Pmccaff2007,
You uploaded 'Cartman Singing PokerFace from South Park' and as a result your account has been deleted"

Im not the only one who uploaded that video though, That South Park episode preimiered on Friday and already about 40 people have made Remixes and Uploaded Cartman Singing Lady Gaga, yet they just pick me.
Youtube has it in for me the Knobs XD

Sorry for the rant guys, Just had to get that of my chest.
Im really annoyed at this.

YouTube fails it really does. I have had copyright isssues in the past, It sucks.

Similar thing happened to me back in '07, I was banned for posting videos about Coronation Street, and so were loads of other people (for posting ITV stuff)

Never had trouble with it really. The fact that loads of songs have gone yet the videos are still up pisses me off. I doubt i'd have trouble though cos I make mine on Windows Movie Maker.

i uploaded a video of a spider dancing to talking heads and they stopped that as well
despite there being loads of other videos they picked on MINE :/

I have just checked my account and a few more of my videos have been flagged on the audio content but are allowed by Sony or UMG to play for the moment, except my Wings of Apollo video which is blocked in Germany.

I did have one video from my video blog of my Last Lundy trip completely blocked because of a few bars from a Rod Stewart song, it was not even the complete song. For that one I had to re do it and for the scene I used a song written and performed by someone I know who gave me permission.

So is there a tipping point of the number of videos being flagged before a banning?

A number of them were commisioned by a former minister for his reporting

It is a bit stupid, there should be warning or something at least, not deleting the whole account!

It's annoying, but it'll save them money if they don't have to keep paying settlements to the copyright owners. It's not YouTube you should be mad at, it's the record labels that are so uppity that they won't allow the music on YT.

When I upload videos with songs that are copyrighted, they're just blocked and I'm given a choice to delete it or put some stock music to it

why don't you download opera it is the safest browser, safer than firefox and it has speed dial where you put in a url and everytime you open opera you can click one of the thumnails and it goes to the site. it sounds complicated but it's not.
