Original Sugababes definitely reforming?

Hmm

When Keisha Buchanan got booted out of the Sugagbabes, loads of people thought it would be a great idea for her to reform the original lineup with Mutya and Siobhan. Well, that's exactly what is happening. *dramatic pause* TODAY.

Even as I type the three are in a second meeting with a potential producer (thought to be William Orbit or Stuart Price) and their label (thought to be Warners).

The label are keen for them to work with Orbit, but Siobhan is said to be reluctant.

On top of the new group deal, all three have been offered seperate solo deals as a bit of a sweetener.

This is pretty ace news for them (They were ******ing great) but dreadful news for the current Sugababes, who can't seem to organise a piss up in a brewery at the moment.

Hurray to them!

Reforming would be pointless without Heidi imo. Heidi made the band, they were nothing until she joined.

would be brilliant. love all 3 of them more than the others [though Heidi's great]

That is all we need, two lots of Sugababes running about :/

Fom 03-11-2009 02:44 PM

I feel really bad on Heidi... I want the best sugababes lot back together. Heidi, Mutya and Keisha.

:D I hope this happens!! The original lineup was my favourite, they produced some amazing stuff.

A reminder of the Originals.

While it's true that it was with Keisha, Mutya and Heidi that they had the most success, I don't think Heidi really added anything to the band? She rarely got notable solos in songs, the only one that springs to mind is in Stronger, otherwise she was just kind of there in the background. Siobhan is a better singer and a good songwriter.

They werent a likable band with the original three, they would all refuse to speak in interviews and reveal much, so when Heidi joined she was more prominent in interviews. The original three were complete munters too and sex sells, Heidi made the others up their game with their looks because she is good looking herself. They were either close to being dropped or they were dropped in their original line up, but when Heidi joined she added a new dimension to the band and made them more accessible as well as coinciding with a new sound that probably wouldn't have worked with the original line up.

Oh my god.

I hate Mutya for leaving Suga's but if she rejoins Keisha then that's amazing.

MrGaryy 03-11-2009 03:40 PM

that would be epic. It totally disagree to the Heidi thing, bitch added nothing to the group.

I guess this just comes down to personal preference; I preferred them when they were purely about good (edit: not that anything they made after Siobhan left was bad!) music, but the vast majority of people preferred them as a commercial band (as they should), I don't disagree with what you're saying because it's true, but I preferred it when it was the original three.

Didn't Keisha say she definetly wasn't going to reform with Mutya and Siobhan?
