Is there anyone who has listened to a lot of his radio shows who dislikes him. he gets such a bad press, it seems, from just those who never listen to him. I say this because the criticism levelled at him is 99/100 wrong to anyone who listens to his shows. If you follow me?

I couldn't make heads or tails of what you are trying to say.

But - I adore him. Love "Quiz Night" and listen to the podcast every week.

I get the sense his not that bad a guy but I were stuck in a lift with him I would slap the emergency button.

He gets a lot of slack on panel shows from supposed comedy gods who seem to have to constantly insult either the likes of Moyle's or Russell Brand in order to gain laughs.

cos he is a idiot who justs puts down and takes the pee out of his guests plus he just waffles about a load of tripe

In fairness, he is a radio host with a comedic slant. Put downs factor into his shows and a lack of coherent sociopolitical debate would not factor into much of his shtick, I would imagine.
