Is he boring?

yes

Yeah sort of, compared to Jedward, Stacey, and Olly, who have big personalities.
But his singing is very good, and want him to be in the final with Stace and Danyl, or to keep everybody else happy, Olly :joker:

He's not boring at all.
He just doesn't need to have an annoying laugh or have weird hair to get noticed.

Im sort of inbetween on the poll. I dont find him boring, but not as entertaining personality-wise as others.

I think Ross is right. In a series full of scandal and media intrusion, Joe is one of the few who hasn't relied on what he says or does to get him noticed. He's also 18, so I don't think he has much life experience to appear edgy or what not. He's beating all the odds though and is the best vocalist there. Good for him.

It's a shame, because he comes across as boring in comparison to all of the big personalities he's up against. He's very consistent, but I kind of wish he would either completely smash a performance or have one bad week; because it seems almost unnatural that he's been delivering decent performances every week. I know that's a strange criticism to make, but it's just what I think when I see him perform; it's good, it's alright, but his performances never make you rave on about how good he is, or how bad he is, there's just nothing to talk about other than "it was okay".

I've been in love with the kid since he's first audition. He is absolutely amazing to begin with and will only get better!

Joe isn't boring at all. Just because he isn't loud and in-your-face doesn't mean he has no personality. If you watch any backstage videos with him in them, you'll see that he's actually very sweet and genuine and by no means boring. So I agree with Ross and Mark <3

I think he seems like a really nice and genuine young lad and it's a pity he gets such stick for it.
