Very broad topic. But what do you define as Sane?

Oh god,that's a broad topic. Someone who is not a danger to themselves or others?

He was based on a real serial killer.

That is someone who might be sectioned, but people can easily fool the shrinks.

Someone who cannot make or construct their own conscious decisions because of a chemical imbalance in brain or because of early experiences? Really depends on which area of Psychology you maintain is correct, really.

It is serious. The Mask of Sanity is a scary thing. Maybe too hard for you to understand. Or maybe you wear one yourself.

Sanity is the degree of insanity accepted by the majority.

Everyone has their 'mad moments' - insanity is in all of us.

I agree, there's no objective term of 'sanity' because we all have moments where we're not fully in control of conscious decisions because of overriding emotions/chemical imbalances.
