WHAM Night FAIL

SO what was it Wham, Wham and GM or GM because someone should have told Dermott.

No mention (apart from a sideswipe by Simon) of Andrew Ridgeley.

"GM called and said he is watching" - wtf is that about? (lie)

No real reason for this theme apart from some internal promotional thing?

This year's themes have been terrible. If they want to go back in the day do

Last night was a bust because the singers are too young to connect with songs in the charts when they were not even born.

Harry! 22-11-2009 09:01 AM

IIt was set because George Michael is romored to appear on the final.

Patrick 22-11-2009 09:18 AM

I know, ****ing ridiculous Pointless theme.

Shittest show of the series.

Why cant they set a theme that Younger Audiences would know.
Like Songs from the Charts.
Or Number 1s of 2009.

That would make everyone happy.

Because Teenagers would know the songs.
People in their 20s would know the songs.
And even just people over 30 would listen to the Radio & know the songs.

This years themes have been ****.

They should of done a MJ theme instead of that retarded Theme last night.

I think I saw Heather Trott in the crowd.

Lewis. 22-11-2009 09:21 AM

I agree. It was dismall last night
My Favourite theme is Best of British.

mizzy25 22-11-2009 09:44 AM

i loved wham so thought it was good but i do agree they shud a charts night and im 42 but i listen to the charts i love pixie lott @ the minute.

Patrick 22-11-2009 09:46 AM

The problem is though if they do Charts this late in the competion.
It`ll be **** because theres hardly anyone left.

They should of done Charts when Kandy Rain,Rachel,Jamie,Lucie and Miss Frank were there.

Idea for next year I suppose :)
Charts Week!

get real. at best the wham ones were pop songs that befit their time, no more no less. Some of GM songs were good just like any performer currently but lots were crap and last nights crop sounded dated and thin.

Why honour GM - a man who has pissed his privilege up so many cheap smelly public toilet walls?

hardly a role model for anyone.

Jords 22-11-2009 12:52 PM

It was boring, so disappointed, hoping next week is something decent, else not just last nights show but the whole series would have been one big fail.

biglover 22-11-2009 12:58 PM

It was an epic FAIL

Everyone knew the songs played last night too. Seriously, everyone knows the George Michael/Wham stuff. Even subconsciously.

And LT, he had his fair share of embarrassing incidents but it does not take away from the good tunes. Some of us would rather focus on the greater majority of good things in the man's life rather than the minority of embarrassing incidents.

Looking on the bright side, and all of that.

I take your point but as there are tons of other themes and pop stars who would have been able to turn up (and GM just could not be bothered).

I still think Hymns would be a winner, or at the very least terrace chants

I can just imagine Jedward doing The Sash my father wore and so forth
