according to wikipedia it's the 8th of jan, this seems a bit late to me though

I don't have a clue, but I would have thought it would be around that time as it is a Friday. :spin:

Just gone onto Wikipedia and it now says "..due to air on Channel 4 and E4 early 2010.."

So it was probably just an unsourced addition that has been removed.

It's not that late - CBB3 began on Thursday 6th.

I wouldn't put it past Channel 4 scheduling it to begin on the 1st, but I reckon Sunday 3rd might be a potential start date too.

Definitely not the first of January so it's either the 7th or the 8th. I don't think it would start on a Sunday to be honest.

Monday's not so bad. People sing the praises of nights like Friday but really quiet a lot of people go out on a Friday night.

The important thins is not which day we think 'sounds' the best, but what competition it faces on those nights.

Last year did really well (over 6m viewers) on a Friday but that was probably only because it was the day after New Year and most were hung over

CBB7 will be lucky to get 4m viewers so they have to place it in the right slot

I think if they do manage to snatch up some quality celebs, given the special ratings situation this year, they might as well announce some of the line up before launch.

Theoretically, if people see that - say - Jedward are going in in the morning papers, the audience that night will get a huge boost.

They should 'leak' the line up again like they did last year

Last year it was the first friday of January (2nd) meaning this year it would be the 1st of January, would be an awesome start to the new year if it was.

Cant wait for the eye flashes to start :D
