Singing first means likely to get booted, shock!

Cambridge University boffins have confirmed what TV viewers already suspected - X Factor contestants are more likely to get the boot if they sing near the start of the show.

We already knew this, silly "boffins".

Also, only twice in XF history has the final act to preform been in the bottom 2/eliminated. In series 3, Ashley and Ben both performance last, but where eliminated by judges/public.

Most of us on here sort of knew this :tongue:

Good read though

Hopefully 1 of Simon's acts sing first on saturday

umm no offence but they also put the less popular people at the start aand only people with big fan bases at the end.

e.g week 1 began with Rachel and Kandy Rain and ended with Joe and Danyl.. :P
and every week it's like that.
so whether or not going first makes it worse for them or not,
it's pretty obvious that the less popular ones go first ;) (most times)

olly has gone 1-3 alot and he has a large fan base

Because he has 2 left, I think it will go;

#1 - Danyl/Olly
#2 - Joe/Stacey
#3 - Joe/Stacey
#4 - Danyl/Olly.
