It's actually quite a rarity that I got up on time. Usually I fondle around with my alarm to find the off button then go back to sleep, and regret it when I've only got 20 minutes to get ready for school and I'm running around like a headless chicken

i've got an audition today. It is live in front of about 400 people
Naturally I'm sh*tting myself. Haha. It is at 10am.. but I have to be there at 9am, and I have to leave the house at half 8.. so I'm up now to give my vocals a good couple of hours to warm up.. I'm singing Songbird by Eva Cassidy.
I'm going to go and get a drink and make some breakfast

IT's a thing called the Xmas Factor. About 300-400 applied, and 808 of us got through to the live auditions..
The winner gets a 12 hour recording session with AMGRecords, 500 quid and 250 pounds worth of shopping vouchers

I love the juxtaposition between the song and the recording on Sesame Street, which gives the whole thing a different, refreshing spin. Safer choice usually means boring to me.
