and stop being jaded by your favourites and least favourites.

I keep seeing people say Olly was amazing, Danyl was rubbish etc and its the same people again and again, and they obviously had that thought in mind before they'd post it completely disregarding the performance.

Time to take a step back and look at the performances without being biased methinks

and i keep seeing people say joe was fantastic and amazing when he clearly wasn't that good, maybe they should take a step back aswell.

It isnt because of Olly

I just don't like Joe and Stacey whatsoever

If I was an outsider having not watched the show before I still wouldn't of liked them.

For me, Danyl=1st
Olly=2nd
Joe=3rd
Stacey=4th.

My NORMAL order would be:
1st - Danyl
2nd - Stacey
3rd - Joe
4th - Olly

they are all **** and everyone needs to realise that not a single one of them will have a career after this

Yeah they were 2 examples. It applies to all of them and most posters in this forum tbh.

You can't say that without taking a step back in the first place! Because you go into every performance thinking "I'm going to like/dislike this because its ____".

I just don't like there voices, nothing will change that so I know whats coming

Joe was very good, the rest were muck.

I'm sorry, but Danyl was absolutely atrocious on his first song and very average on his second.

Olly was diabolical twice, and Danyl was awful on the second performance, but shone on the first. Stacey I actually loved tonight, and Joe was epic.

I know I do, but not OTT about it, plus I dont hammer hard into Olly, I give him 6's/10, whereas others are stupid and give their least favourites 2's and 4's.

I praise Stacey a lot too, I think she deserves it, but I can admit when others are better than her, aka round 1 - Joe was, but I did think preformace wise in round 1 she was best :)

I think people do watch the show with some pre-conceived ideas about how the contestants will perform. But isn't it natural to be that way.

If I switch on MTV and Oasis come on, there's a 99% chance I'm going to hate it, as I don't like them.

However, if Coldplay came on, there's a 99% chance I'm going to like it, since I like their style.

The same applies for XF contestants. Some you like, some you don't. And, it's not really going to matter what they sing is it.

But when people have the idea of "this will be awful/good" before they've even heard it and are praising/slating acts like no tomorrow when they don't really deserve to be, then its a bit odd.

I see your point with the scenario you've said but its not really the same thing.
