Why didn't Dermot talk to Janet?

I expect they were running out of time.

I know she waited as well probably seen him talking to Gaga and expected he'd talk to her poor Janet.

I wondered that too, probably cos Janet was too snotty to talk to him!!

Well she was still standing there as he was talking about voting.

I thought that too?

Probably too busy milking her brother's death to bolster her flagging career.

How exactly is she "milking her brother's death"?

I thought Janet did a good preformance, would have been nice to have a word from her.
Maybe thanking the contestants for supporting MJ this week?

It looked to me like she WAS waiting on stage,as we saw her scurry off when Dermot continued talking,it seemed like they were running out of time,Why do some people always want to see the bad in someone saying,"She's too snotty" etc. we don't know that is the case do we?

An X Factor appearance? Seriously? How is she not? How are any of them not?

If you watched her she waited and then sort of looked again and thought oh shite I better go and hopped it. Dermot ran out of time

She was asked to. Shes not exactly being Joe and La Toya and selling things to the highest bidder is she?

Shes got an album out just like everybody else whos performed on the show this year.So by performing her song and promoting her album shes "milking her brother's death"?

Presumably she would have had an album out anyway - regardless of her brother's death - so to accuse her of 'milking his death' by performing on the show is very cynical and unfair. As they were performing Michael Jackson songs - and he couldn't be there to represent himself - didn't it make sense to have a member of his family stand in instead. Seems fairly respectful of his memory to me! Don't see the problem!

She had to rush off to the Jingle Bell Ball straight after, so she probably wouldn't have had time. And as for the snotty comments, she stood there for a while afterwards so I doubt she refused to be spoken to.

She'd be silly not to. The whole world goes into mourning because MJ dies... I'm sure she's a little fed up of everyone associating her with his death so she might as well perform if the offer comes along...?

Plus her family are regulars on the UK reality TV circuit so I doubt shes snotty. Tito appeared on BBLB so I'm sure Janet would speak on X Factor!

I am sure it was something to do with timing, as she did and stay there standing while dermot spoke... so talking in an interview wouldn't of made a difference. They probably just ran out of time.

I felt sorry for her, she was stood there waiting and then looked really embarrassed and ran off lol.

I actually think Janet is the only one in that family who has never leeched off of Michael's fame and she's not doing it now either.
