Are people now going to stop the rubbish?

About how the order the acts appear affecting the outcome of the public vote?

Im sick to death of seeing, 'oh, **** was only bottom because they sang first' and so on. When it makes no difference at all...

No

Obviously the singing last bit no longer stands, but imo the rest does. I think theres something in it but after week 8ish it doesn't have an impact

I think it makes a difference when there are more acts (8+), as its easy to forget after so many more preformances.

And also when we get down to the final 5, they all do 2 songs, so it sort of refreshes you on them.

its actually DOES make a difference.
Hopefully, Joe topped the vote, and it comes out!:)
then people will say: 'We dont need to vote,he will be safe anyway':D

i think song choices prove much more influencial at this stage of the competition than order of performance, and olly has played second fiddle to danyl in the song choices all competition, really hope next week works out better for him

Dr Lionel Page, who was one of the academics behind the investigation, said that no acts have been eliminated after singing last on the current series.

And now that theory is proven wrong....

It has a very obvious effect in the early stages of the show. It doesn't when there's less contestants left though, as they're not so forgettable.

But when you have 12 people singing you've forgotten about the first ones.

Yeah I kind of already mentioned that when I posted the link
