Johnny Ikon has learned exclusively of secret discussions already taking place behind the scenes to offer 'X Factor' semi-finalist Danyl Johnson a record deal at Simon Cowell's firm.

In between running to various interviews yesterday, Danyl received a call from the singing contest supremo telling him: "Don't worry, we'll sit down and talk. You will record an album."

My source, who works for the Sony Music Group that Simon's Simco label belongs to, says that the plan is for Danyl to sign either with Simon's label or to another offshoot of the label.

he has not got it. no personality, nasal singing voice that is 10 a penny. its over.

He can sign to any record label he wants but I doubt many will buy his albums... Simon will realise this after a while.

Danyl has a cheesey, shouty singing style that is always half a semi tone off pitch.
