Why do certain men prefer blondes?
 

Now I don't want to get into the argument about how many men actually prefer blonde women, that wasn't the point of this thread. I've always wondered why blondes have much more sex appeal, so fellas, enlighten me. What is the reason for this?

I just think it's a matter of taste, nothing more. (I prefer brunettes or black hair btw)

I guess sometimes Blondes can have that sparkle about them that can just wow you. Also they often have fantastic blue eyes

I don't have a particular preference although I usually go for darker haired girls probably because I'm fair haired myself and enjoy the contrast. But no, it doesn't bother me really.

When it comes to relationships, I don't think men have a preference, but on a night out, they'd want to screw a blonde? Why?

Don't think I'm lumping all men into the one basket, I know not everyone is the same. Just saying..

It's pretty much the same as why do certain women want to shag men with nice bodies and huge muscles?

Nice bodies and huge muscles. There's a simple answer for that. Women want a healthy partner to produce healthy kids. But blondes.. I've never understood it. What do they have more appeal than brunettes or redheads?

This. Blondes are the stereotypical image of 'sexy' for a woman and they seem to appeal most to the stereotypical image of what a 'lads lad' should be.

I know everyone is different but maybe it's a case of the normal attracting the normal?

Yes, I guess that could be a viable reason. What about bleached blonde hair? Do you prefer that too?

Yeah, I think when guys think of a typical pornstar/model etc they think of a blonde haired, big titted woman. Just like how a woman would think of a guy with huge muscles and a six pack. I think media influences things a lot.

Because blonde is associated with being promiscuous

How does hair colour determine how slutty a woman is? I understand it's all about a man copping off, but if you were asked why do blonde women seem more slutty, or why ARE they more slutty, how would you answer that?

I don't think they are, its just association really so its just what I'm more inclined to think ... just in the same way people think blondes are dumb

Its just a feeling. Especially the airhead stigma. Airhead=easy!

I love natural blondes, so attracted to them, but not bleach blonde as much.
But I also think brunette girls can be equally gawjuss :)

Well I mainly go by personality, I like the more fun outgoing girl, as Im quite reserved at times, so they bring out a lot of fun in me, but at the same time I quite like the shy girl because theyre cute :)

And blondes seem more outgoing and fun? Why is that? Btw, not having a go at you, just trying to see from a man's perspective. :P
