Ollys Odds Shortening and Stacey and Joe Lengthening

Could he win

Jords 09-12-2009 10:09 PM

Yepp, any of them can.

Stephanie 09-12-2009 10:09 PM

maybe

\PJ/ 09-12-2009 10:10 PM

:D

Odds at this stage generally mean jack, Leon was the outsider going into the final but still won it

Jack_ 09-12-2009 10:11 PM

Third or first. He could win, but at a push. It alls comes down to how much Joe fans vote and his duet.

But I'm still convinced it'll be the most predictable outcome.

Jords 09-12-2009 10:18 PM

I think Joe peaked on 'Dont Let the Sun Come Down on Me', and is slowly coming back down now, its just the fact if he can keep his sparkle going till Sundays finale.

MrGaryy 09-12-2009 10:22 PM

no but I think there's a very good chance he'll come second!

stacey2win 09-12-2009 10:45 PM

i think that was the song that got him noticed and since then he has gone from strength to strength.

joe's the best singer in the contest by a long way, if he dont win then he dont win, it wont be nothing new, apart from leona, the best singer has never won the x factor.

abcd 10-12-2009 06:19 AM

hmmmm this thread title reminds me of my thread 3days ago. Of course he can and will win

Twilight 10-12-2009 08:27 AM

Oh **** he better not win

MarkWaldorf 10-12-2009 09:41 AM

He survived against his odds, of course they were going to shorten. People are putting money on him when it could have gone Joe > Stacey > Olly > Danyl / Stacey > Joe > Olly > Danyl.

In most polls that was the case.

robb 10-12-2009 11:06 AM

Joe is odds on, Stacey and Olly are both 4/1 or 5/1 against, according to today's Mirror report.
Don't forget Olly and Joe are the two who have been the bookies favourites almost from the start. Stacey has made inroads over the past 4 weeks. No pressure at all on Stacey then. The two guys were expected to be here. Stacey now has a huge fan base which will stay with her, regardless of the XF RESULT.

Joe and Stacey have never been in the bottom 2. That speaks volumes.

Fom 10-12-2009 11:48 AM

I dont think we can call it, its very very close. It all depends on the performances... Joe is most likely to blow everyone away, but who know!

Chels 10-12-2009 01:04 PM

The final hasn't even started yet.
It means nothing.

Niamh. 10-12-2009 01:13 PM

I hope so Damaris!!

I disagree, his stripped down performance last week was insanely good. I want him to win more and more every week, and I have been routing for him since the auditions.

Smithy 10-12-2009 02:59 PM

I think at this point of the competition with Odds so close it'll al come down to the performances on the night

Oh yes it was very good I agree, what I meant is its the preformance he has to live up to again and again at least, but his odds are slowly coming down as Stacey and Olly are upping their game. Stacey with somewhere, and Olly just is gaining his popularity back, not too sure why, as his preformances recently havnt really been good, but still he is :)

MarkWaldorf 10-12-2009 04:11 PM

Stacey's odds are drifting too, so if anything she's having less of an impact.

CaraRawr 10-12-2009 04:34 PM

Joe has to win D:

Would have gone down because of her first preformance me thinks.

Anyway, Im excitied for this weekend, I reckon itll be really close!

Tom4784 10-12-2009 05:13 PM

Joe'll win, It'll coem down to the performances and he is the most consistent contestant left sadly.
