Domestos wants Big Brother's Alex to star in adverts

Domestos wants Big Brother's Alex to front a new advertising campaign.

A spokesman says the hygiene-obsessed housemate "fits the bill perfectly".

Alex famously flipped when he learned some fellow housemates had urinated in the shower.

The firm is already running Big Brother-based newspaper adverts.

A spokesman for Domestos told the News of the World: "We're looking at a new advertising initiative and he fits the bill perfectly."

This reminds me of BB1's Darren and his precious chickens..."bup bup bup Maaaaaarjorie!" :laugh: and BB2 winner Brian and his beloved Tomatoe Ketchup, neither of which came to anything as far as advertizers were concerned although there was alot of speculation about Darren.
I doubt very much whether someone like Alex would be interested in advertizing this product, it is not very cool is it? He wouldn't want to be forever associated with that sort of product or Big Brother come to think of it. He might be a bit of a wuss but he is also quite hip.
He has already voiced his opinion about doing future modeling jobs, saying that he will not want to model with the title 'Big Brother's Alex' attatched to everything he did.
I think Domestos can flush their idea straight down the loo.

It seems a bit strange how many advertisers are jumping on the band wagon this year. An advert is something we see then forget about. Is this all the housemate's are fit for this year I ask myself.:conf:

Well on that note why don't we think up some ideas ourselves for a laugh.

Alex - Trapped wind or Constipation tablets.
Adele - Kitchen Knives.
Alison - Chocolate Oranges (she could take over from Dawn French)
Jade - Gobstoppers sweets
Spencer - Sure Antiperspirant
Lee - Mr Muscle Cleaning products
Tim - Hair Dye
