'No black people in the final'
 

I heard this mentioned on the radio during the night.

They were talking about X Factor and one woman rang in and said it was terrible that there were no 'black people' in the final.

I don't think it matters. The people - viewers - voted who they want in. It has nothing to do with 'colour'.

What do you think?

It's a stupid *****ing argument. Guess what, there's no midgets in there either. Would they rather have a black person through on talent or just because they're black and don't want to appear racist? This world is getting stupid in terms of racial equality. I went to Asda in Hulme the other day - I was the only whitey in there... I didn't make a complaint about it being racist though - I just figured that it was random chance.

In the finals, she was actually a rubbish singer.

Yeah I mean like not just cos they're disabled and that they should be in, but I women if someone with like half their arm missing or something would do well, if they were a good singer. Like parents wanted to get rid of that CBBC presenter because she might 'scare the kids'. Just awful.

As others have said, Alex and JLS were the top 2 last year.
I'd have been more impressed with her is she'd said that Cowell had tried to make it an all-male final this year!

Ahh this is stupid, like Niamh said, Alex and JLS are black and they were in the final last year, nobody complained about no white people being in the final. People make the colour of your skin too big of a deal these days.

Just some idiot getting all PC again. It is a talent competition - not a skin colour contest. You can't vote people in for that reason! And I would think that black people would not want to be put through for that reason - that would be insulting.

For God's sake - the past 2 winners have been black/mixed race - so how is it so terrible! The woman is a stupid cow!
