Secret mission for someone. Or maybe the public get more control over things?

Its gotta be some sort of twist?
Like somebody in the house controls what happens to the others?

yes there definitely has to be more to it because if it was just a tag line surely it would be something that would make more sense like "Hell lies within"

Its probably the same thing as "America's Player" in the US version when the public decides which housemate to control, and the HM has to do everything taht the public tells him/her to. Would be great.
We have control.

Giving the public more control is one of the best ways to get people interested. If we're able to literally torture them then things will certainly become more interesting, and with them all being celebrities it'll be even better.

Probably a few dilemmas to begin with and some secret mission/screwing each other.

It's an anagram for Sinister Hellhole.

Concentration camp style theme.

It's just a stupid cryptic message which means nothing. It's just to make people interested in the show to tune in on the main launch night, but it'll end up as a damp squib.

Remember before BB10 when the logo was "Expect the unexpected". But we ended up with one of the worst starts to a series ever and nothing which was much different from previous series. No live feed either, which made the entire series pointless.

I predict the whole hell theme will turn out to be nothing.

Possible Meanings

1. It isnt what we think, just like Johnny pointed out it could be Hell Lie.
Which is probley BB lieing to the Housemates, I loved that in BB6 :)

2. It could mean it will be like BB France 'Secret Story' where they all have a secret, and it could be like a really big secret that will effect everything.
But its only on for 3 weeks and theres only 10 people so I cant see it being that good if its that.

3. Hell lies in Others, Others being the Public. We become Big Brother and decide the fate of the HMs..we do that every week though I just mean like we decide twists and that.

4. Its complete bullshit and is just a tagline to get more ratings like in BB10 'Its not what you expect it to be' Yes, well I have to give it to Sharron Powers for that..
It indeed wasnt what we expected it to be, it was complete bollocks instead of a great celebration for BBs 10 Birthday.

Whatever it means, it's a great new twist. Very evil and that is what we missed, hope it passes over to BB11 too!

Yes, but Patrick, your 4th point.... i agree they said that last year, but "Hell Lies In Others" is being used as the advertising campaign, so its different to last years one, because they didnt use "Its not what you expect to be" tagline at all.... but using this one in adverts, foreshadows it will be a big part of the series.

I do think that it has a meaning in terms of how the show will pan out, it's just like that whole "Black Friday" advertising campaign for BB5 (same producer) which signified BB "turning evil".

I like the idea of 'others' being the public and really take it back in some way to being an 'experiment' and seeing how people react to being 'controlled' completely by the 'unknown' (we).

Well the whole 'hell' and fire and the advert remind me of hells kitchen

They have nothing to loose, they will blast there budget and **** over C4 by doing the biggest show ever, and get a **** load of viewers, good for them!

I'm not saying I'm guessing it'll be the 'shizzle' as I said that for BB9&10 and it didn't go to plan, so i'm HOPING this time, hallelujah to hope!

I love all the speculation, but it will most likely amount to little, like the whole 'Identity' theme for BB10.

Hell lies in others? hell lies within those who embrace it if u study history you will find ancient bloodlines leading to an organisation that embraces and worships pure evil. this specific organisaion had a crest or a symbol which can easily be identified around a cirtain housemates neck (the all seeing eye) the same organisation responsable for many crisis and disasters in recent history the name is not important but what is important is they are responsible for the corruption and destruction of morality in the western world region aswell as villifying and bullying the eastern world... hell lies in others? There´s nothing cryptic about it. It´s a prfect definition of what is going on there and what "BB" wants to achieve.

For ordinary people hell lies in others. Viennies and Stephanies Hell lies in Sov, for example. Other people can irritate us, hurt us, make us mad or full of envy, torture us. BB puts a bunch of strangers in a house together and promotes discord and tensions between them. Housemates are like puppets being played.
Of course, wise people know that hell actually lies within, but among 90% of people it is in others. That´s what this show is all about. That is what provides the entertainment for most. When you discover that hell actually is within yourself then you can´t be played. Then you can grow. But you probably won´t provide great entertainment for the masses who crave to see some blood...
I have never followed this show before, so when I 1st saw the tagline it seemed like the only natural thing for this sort of programme. I was surprised to find out that the tagline used to be different.
