Hughes is slang for money in welsh apparently and it's not funny but it's 'Owe Wayne Hughes' ie 'Owe Wayne Money'... well that's what google said.

We should ask someone whose Welsh. No-one gets it!

It took me like an hour to get it and I'm welsh and a fluent welsh speaker :p I'm pretty sure it's Owain= pronounced as Owe Wayne .. Hughes, as in owing Wayne money. My dad told me that my tadcu got it straight away :)
