Only the North West ... its because of the stupid mountains

We only get snow from the west or something, and most of it comes from the east

bettiepage 15-12-2009 06:44 PM

HeatherTWx 15-12-2009 06:51 PM

MissKittyFantastico 15-12-2009 07:46 PM

I'm not gonna hold my breath, it's been raining here in Manchester here today, it's cold enough to snow though I'd say!

Patrick 15-12-2009 07:50 PM

Were ment to be getting Snow on Thursday or Friday.

The whole of the UK will probley get alot more between January-Febuary.

I read today in the Newspaper that Belfast is the most likely place in Ireland to have a White Christmas this year, so im all happy now.
But it probley wont happen.

I love snow, I only go out and mess about in it for about an Hour and a Half.
But Its great to stay off school for ages when it snows heavily :)

I live on a mountain, so when it snows in Belfast my friends (who dont live beside me) dont get much snow and have to go to school
But I get alot and get to stay off lol

NI got alot of snow last year.

When Englands started to clear up we got alot.
Plus Like I said in my other post about Belfast being the most likely place in Ireland to get a white christmas, Belfast is in Northern Ireland so it`ll probley snow where you live aswell then lol

So well get snow again this year hopefully :)

This shitty little island hardly ever gets snow. We all have to go to school and come home to news reports of kids off everywhere up and down the country.

Infact, I've only ever had one day off of school due to snow (that I can remember), and that was back in February. Other than that it's never been heavy enough.

I would stick in at Geography if I were you

It snows a lot in the UK but it is dictated to by elevation above sea level and how far North you are mainly

Try living anywhere above 1000 feet above sea level and get back to us.

30stone 16-12-2009 09:07 AM

We had a small bit of snow yesterday didnt settle yet though.

I will be ****ed if it snows...

I work until 10pm and i have to drive home.. i dont wanna drive in the snow!

Mrluvaluva 16-12-2009 10:53 AM

It's snowing in East London. It isn't sticking though.

30stone 16-12-2009 11:09 AM

Its only settling in a couple of places but its amazing...
