It's not surprising, he'd have doen anything to keep her on board.

Patrick 15-12-2009 04:00 PM

Oh cool :)

Shaun 15-12-2009 04:01 PM

shame.

she's a useless judge.

Jack_ 15-12-2009 04:01 PM

Not surprised. What person in their right mind would turn down a 2.4 million salary for five/six months on a TV show? A family can wait.

Glad to hear she's returning anyway. The main news is if Dannii will be leaving or not.

Tom 15-12-2009 04:02 PM

I'd rofl if Simon changed his mind and never offered her a new contract

Remember he did the same to Kate? ;)

Niamh. 15-12-2009 04:03 PM

Boooooooooo wish she'd just leave!! I don't know why Simon was so keen to keep her, judges are easily replaced!

Harry! 15-12-2009 04:04 PM

I hate her she is so annoying.

setanta 15-12-2009 04:04 PM

Wow, what a shocker.

She never had any intention of leaving - just a ploy for more attention - as the show has transformed her otherwise failing career. Without Girls Aloud - which isn't exactly great - she is nothing!

I expect Dannii will be off, I like her but am not really sure how she managed to get the job in the first place.

Jords 15-12-2009 04:07 PM

I like Cheryl but I rather see Dannii back!

Are they definately getting rid of 1 judge?

I wouldn't say her career was failing before, GA are doing very well and she didn't have a solo career until this year. I think she's a decent judge, very hit and miss though.

I'm hoping Dannii's back though she's the best judge out the lot.

In Australia Dannii is what Cheryl is like over here and Dannii does Australia's Got Talent. Simon apparently created the fourth judge in series 4 especially for Cheryl but she declined (just like BGT). Dannii was probably all he could get at short notice (remember the show wasn't that big when the changes were made)

Don't have a clue really mate, don't believe all the shite that you read in the press, because most of it is simply just that - shite.

X Factor came along at the perfect time, their career was starting to go down the pan. Can't Speak French just scraped into the top 10, then when X Factor was out of the way they only made it to number 10 on one song, and for the first time failed to get the top 10 with another. Then they conveniently "went on a break" whilst Cheryl is pretending to be Beyonce.

InOne 15-12-2009 04:41 PM

Cheryl is a looker, that is all.
