Which is your favourite type of humour

We all have different tastes in music, movies, reality TV characters etc, but our sense of humour is a big part of who we are, so I decided to make a poll.

Patrick 16-12-2009 12:05 AM

And where is that poll?

Enid 16-12-2009 12:16 AM

I like very dry, dark humour.

King Gizzard 16-12-2009 12:17 AM

Randomness.

e.g. Noel Fielding

Legend.

DrunkerThanMoses 16-12-2009 12:19 AM

Dark Humour, but no poll .

Mrluvaluva 16-12-2009 12:36 AM

Sarcasm. Dry humour.

BB_Eye 16-12-2009 12:59 AM

Sorry... took a while. This is the first time I've posted a poll with the new system.

Mrluvaluva 16-12-2009 01:06 AM

Camp? Peter Kay?

Shaun 16-12-2009 01:44 AM

A mixture of wry, satirical, dark and retro. Based on the examples anyway.

Dislike extrovert [though i love McIntyre] and pub humour.

Crimson Dynamo 16-12-2009 08:57 AM

Mighty Boosh
Seinfeld
The Office (UK and USA)
HIGNFY
Thick of It
Ant on Dec on IMAGMOOH
Billy C
Gav and Stac
Early Doors
Morecambe and Wise
Peppa Pig

I like a dry humour like Coronation Street's Blanche.

Are the joke and humour the same?

If it is yes, I also like silly jokes.

A woman was interviewed by a street reporter.
"How do you think of Xmas?"
"I think it is very nice. We should have it every year."

Bush went a bar. A man before him ordered.
"Johnny Walker single."
Bush ordered.
"George W Bush married."

Camp. I like Jo Brand and Jimmy Carr too.

Brad. 16-12-2009 08:27 PM

Wry, snide and extrovert from that list. :)

Tom 16-12-2009 09:01 PM

Snide humour. Graham Norton's chat show is hilarious, so is 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Graham > Alan Carr (when Graham isn't presenting things like Joseph)

Jo Brand has a very dry sense of humour. She had a series many years ago called "Through the cakehole". I used to love it. One of my favourite sketches was one she did of an over 60's amateur dramatics group performing "Reservoir Dogs". I have never been able to find it on the internet though. :(

Shaun 17-12-2009 03:55 AM

Favourite comedians:

Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey, Joan Rivers, Stephen K. Amos, Michael McIntyre, Frankie Boyle, Dara O'Briain, Ed Byrne.

Of times gone by... Tommy Cooper, Peter Cook, Bill Hicks, Richard Pryor.
