Finally some trashy press!

CELEBRITY Big Brother contestants are to be set tasks by TV stars - in a bid to perk up the last ever series.

Countdown's Rachel Riley, 23, has already signed up to test housemates' maths skills.

Producers are also eyeing Location Location Location host Kirstie Allsopp, 36, who could set contestants homemaking tasks.

And chefs such as Jamie Oliver, 34, could give cooking challenges.

The stars will enter the Big Brother compound to speak to the contestants - a first for the show.

An insider said: "The plan is to surprise the celebs and do something different.

"The tasks are one of the most popular parts of the show and producers have been thinking how to spice them up."

The celebrities are due to enter the house on January 3.

Among those thought to have signed up are Boy George, 48, and Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss, 43. MC Hammer, 47, and Pamela Anderson, 42, are also in talks.

Bosses have pledged to spend more on fewer stars to make the last series the best ever.

"Celebrity Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack".

Sounds cool. However Celeb BB is only on for a few weeks. Having too many celebrity guests might ruin it. A part of me thinks maybe "let it be". Especially if legends like Boy George are going in. There needs to be some twists as well of course.

They never really do that good of twists for CBB, except Chantelle being a celeb, which was epic, they ought to do many this series being the last :p

well you know its the same old trash from the sun every year. the only task the sun was ever right about was in bb9 were housemates had to gamble there shopping money away with slot machines.

Big bore..

I hope this is incorrect - it would basically make Celebrity Big Brother a three week advertisement for Channel 4 shows.

Yeah I liked that. I loved Chantelle. Also I liked it when George Galloway was on the phone to Richard and Judy taking part in that game, I forgot what it was called but he was winning some money for food I think. I thought that was epic. I think little tasks like that would be great but I don't really want to see Kirstie Allsop or Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsay actually enter the house unless they are fully fledged housemates.
