Kelly Clarkson has to have one of the most natuarally raw talented voices in this day and age. It's almost as If she doesn't even try.. it just comes out.

shes versatile has an amazing voice look at her past couple of albums for example
and she isnt bothered about critics (my december)

I do think Kelly is a great talent though, pity her last record was so crap.

what the hell are you talking about her last record was amazing it was full of all sorts of stuff, much better than Xtina

the last record did nothing be display what an utter sellout she is. And I very much doubt you've even heard a Christina Aguilera record.

the album wasnt a sellout she decided to return to trying something different i dont really want to listen to Xtina as i dont really like most of her previous stuff

then you can't really say if it's better than Kelly's can you? and on the sell out subject, she returned to pop because My December was a complete and utter flop which her label knew was going to happen but she refused to change the album because she was a real artist, apparently. But obviously when 'real artists' don't sell enough records, they're very willing to do exactly what they're told in order to make some 'real money'.

you cant really call an album a flop if it sells over a million copies and goes platinum in the US

even her manager who she fired after the album said the album was a sucess and shes said multiple times in interviews that she wants to try something different on every album All I Ever Wanted is completely different to breakaway & my december

and if i compare kellys earlier stuff with Xtinas i still prefer kellys

Now Back To Basics, Stripped. Two compltely different albums!

and you can;t honestly tell me that All I Ever Wanted is even remotely different from Breakaway? It's practically a carbon copy, she went crawling back to pop rock after My December was sucha fail.

so again my december wasnt a fail

and breakaway is v diff, the ballads are so much more personal on this album and she wrote most of them theres a couple more covers and it has deffo been one of the best albums of the year

Because Of You, Beautiful Disaster, Behind These Hazel Eyes are probably the most personal work Kelly has ever done. Already Gone, Cry pale in comparison.

Cry is by far one of the best ballads shes written, already gone only seems poor because ryan tedder is a jackass who likes to use the same freakin tune and to get really picky beautiful diaster (live) was a bonus track on breakaway an actual song on thankful, can you really clas behind these hazel eyes as a ballad???

it doesnt really thankful is by far the worst of her albums it has no real meaning as it was an american idol winners album who ever would have won would have ended up with most of the songs off of that album

you cant say that; if no one will listen, save you, cry, tip of my tongue are poor ballads they put it in such a different league compard to thankfull

I do love this performance, its a great mix up of that song and showcases kelly's live vocals great, she is the only artist (in the pop charts) I find sounds better live than on CD. I really wish she would make a CD with music like this... if you like this, search for her singing 'Up to the mountain'
