I guess personality is quite key in all of this.
Has that ever happened to you when you see someone (lets say a mates friend) thought she/he was soo good looking/fit, spoke to them and that put you off them??

It happens to me all the time, lots of good looking people are either up themselves, rude, arrogant etc... sorry to generalze.
On only some occasions does a gorgeous person has the best personality.

Now would you date someone that was really pretty/fit who had the dullest personality ever to an extreme and someone who your friends dont like as a person?, or someone who is okay, normal looking, briliant personaliy that all of your friends and family like?

Yeah all the time, I could only date somebody funny and interesting, I don't think I could date an airhead or someone stupendously boring. I'd rather date someone who was considered plain looking but who matched me, personality wise, than a stunner with nothing to say for themselves.

Yeah I think it's happened for most people.

A lot (not all though) of good looking people don't bother to work on their personalities, because they've always gotten by on their looks. That's why you find a lot of beautiful people aren't really that nice in person.

Again, there are exceptions to every rule. :)

Someone could look like Johnny Depp but if they have zero personality or are up their own arses then I just wouldn't want to know! I've known plenty of guys who think because they are good looking they don't have to bother being nice people, and can treat girls like **** because they can always get someone else - vile!

Of course you have to find someone attractive but an ugly personality can make the most beautiful person asthetically, very unattractive.

About 2 years ago I spent all year like obsessed with this girl in my year, and then I finally got to know her (she was so fit) and then she turned out to be a little ****ing bitch.
But now shes obsessed with me and wont leave me alone, the cow.


And then now, Theres this girl and shes really fit and the whole year knows I love her but shes abit of a nasty ****ing bitch.
Im like the only one who likes because shes fit, but when I try talking to her, her personality makes me sick.

Many times! Is a common problem! But if you want to spend any length of time with someone - personality is far more important than looks!

Yeah well at school but then they turn out to be dicks, well I just fancied these people and never went out with them. I have a good looking bf with a brilliant personality now! So I am lucky. My ex was ugly though, my ex ex was better looking than my ex but my ex was too moody and my ex ex was too mentally draining.

Oh I had an ex ex ex as well, he is probs my favourite out of the ex's because I went out with him for the shortest period of time.

This has happened many times. Looks don't count for everything - sometimes, if the person's roten enough - they don't count for anything. Having said that, my missus is fit as a *****er, and I want to bum her all the time. Her personality is great too. She loves it when I bum her.

Personality > Looks

If you really liked somebody, it will be because of their personality, looks are a bonus.
