Aren't you disappointed?

Big Brother promised us the best line up ever and the rumoured names just really aren't all that great. I feel let down. When Lindsay Lohan was first rumoured I was excited. But that has since declined and I've realised the star power isn't that great. :bawling:

I think your watching the wrong show, then. Your never going to get really big, current celebrities for it.

I do realise that but let's be honest Kym Marsh? Seriously, what could she offer to anyone? The were apparently going to cut the budget to get celebrities with more credibility and frankly last years show has more star power.

Yeah, and look how that turned out.

Star power is not an indication of entertainment value.

LaLaLand 29-12-2009 03:04 PM

Not at all.

CBB4 had rubbish 'celebrities' on paper, I mean the only names when I saw the list before the show that got me excited were Pete Burns and Dennis Rodman -then I was loving it when Jodie Marsh went in on launch.

Statistically other than those three, we had a slag, a rapper from a small Welsh band, an Indie Cindy with one 'hit', a Baywatch babe that couldn't get out of Pammy's shadow, an actress who was famous 30 years ago, a comedian-turned-suspected rapist/murderer and a disgraced politician.

On paper, that doesn't sound good - but the series was one of the best BBs, including the summer series, EVER.

Give it a chance.

No, Not necessarily. But it can help ratings and by the way I thoroughly enjoyed last years series.

Stu 29-12-2009 03:15 PM

But it didn't help last years ratings. Entertainment value will always win out over fame.

CBB4 - Worst celebs, best ratings.
CBB6 - Best celebs, worst ratings.

Erm can we remember that rumoured celebrities are just that - rumoured.

001steven 29-12-2009 10:24 PM

Yeah true but it be good to have some good celebs

I dont mind which celebs go in as long as the series is good.

BBDodge 29-12-2009 11:30 PM

I reserve judgement until Sunday night. Boy George would have been great.
