BBC3 have BRILLIANT night.

Throughout December it was getting 9m which was generally above average from previous months.
Last night was 1M viewers more than the Xmas episode.
The episode was really good and deserved doing well. First time i watched EE since around July.
Its quite strange seeing the figures of EE, i expected maybe 10.2m at max. Not 11.6m!

DW did well, but people expected it to get around 1m more.

Eastenders OWNING Corrie again :)

Eastenders has been amazing, so many good storylines going on in it.

Doctor Who is **** and boring and is just becoming duller and duller.. thats why it didnt get any higher.

Great for Eastenders, Gavin and Stacey and Doctor Who.

All three were amazing last night so I'm not surprised they got such high ratings.

Yet Corrie got in top 20 shows of the decade and EE didnt! What a joke :laugh:

Thank god EE has edged against Corrie in the regular ratings, hopefully this will give the show the kick up the backside it needs!

i dont like eastenders every new years, christmas so on someone is either stabbed, shot or hit by a car its entertaining but does anything happy happen in it

I think the problem with Doctor Who is that it's been spread out through 4 episodes throughout the entire year...so people probably didn't bother with it. 10.6 is still pretty good and above what the usual episode would get.

Everyone was out on Thursday night, thats why. Then again tonight. So tomorrow means yet another hangover ... all day in front of the telly/on the internet ... Celeb BB

I just noticed the first half of Corrie was up against Dr. Who...so 8m is actually quite a good result, plus the follow on from Dr. Who was Eastenders which probably explains its high ratings, where as Corrie's 2nd part lead on was 'Countrywise'

I enjoyed EE last night it was great.

Amazing for Doctor Who! Also really good for G&S and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year.

Doctor Who is all hype. I'm surprised it got so many viewers.
