*The Official CBB7 Ratings Thread* *Officials now starting to be released*

If a mod can make this a sticky thread, because i would like this to be a thread which is on the front page for the next month while CBB7 is on.

Here we will post the ratings that the series is getting, as well as members predictions on them, and how well they think the series will do.

So, firstly, what do you think the ratings of tomorrow nights launch be?

Its really hard to call, I say 4.5m with Channel 4+1 added. The Simpsons Movie could help it out. Would be brilliant to reach 5m.

Lewis. 02-01-2010 09:53 PM

I doubt it will get 5m.. probably 3.5 - 4m :D

Tom 02-01-2010 09:55 PM

I think it will just scrape 5m, if not with overnights definitely when official ratings are released

It has a lot going for it:

New year hangover (same as last year which got about 6m)
New ad campaign that should bring back those who watched BB10 launch
Opposition aimed at different audience
Airs on a Sunday (Sunday papers and all that) and theres a massive younger audience available that aren't there on Thursdays or Fridays
Its the last one
More publicity than previous years

Smithy 02-01-2010 09:57 PM

i think average 4.4mill peak 5.2 (including +1)

Braden 02-01-2010 10:02 PM

I reckon it will get
5-6 million.

Brad. 02-01-2010 10:09 PM

I predict 4.8m for the launch

Billy 02-01-2010 10:30 PM

I predict 5.4 million.

Brekkie 02-01-2010 10:43 PM

I really think it could go either way tomorrow. I'm predicting around 3.5-4m for The Simpsons movie, which could mean CBB easily gets 4.5-5m, but just as likely see their figures fall to around 2.5-3m. So basically anywhere between 2.5m and 5m. But just to be on the safe side, I'll say less than 10m! :D

Yeah i have no idea which way it will go.
If it breaks 5m, we know that the advertising defenitley has worked wonders. Im worried it will get under 4m.

Chillax about the ratings... it's been axed. Channel 4 won't change their decision.

Would be nice to see it do well though :).

True. I predict 5m for launch.

biglover 03-01-2010 03:04 AM

I say about 6.5 million for the launch and about 3 million for nightly episodes

King Gizzard 03-01-2010 03:06 AM

27.4 million,

citezens of britain will be flocking to the nearest tv screen to watch vinnie and co

Vladimir 03-01-2010 03:17 AM

3.5 million.

Tom4784 03-01-2010 03:45 AM

2-4 million.

Patrick 03-01-2010 03:49 AM

4 - 5 Million.
The Adverts have helped, and alot of people who hated it want to watch it as its the last one.

It will do well.

To people that say 'who cares about ratings its axed'
Well if CBB7 and BB11 Do very well in ratings then theres more of a chance another channel will want BB.

So ratings for the next two series are very very important.

andyman 03-01-2010 04:00 AM

5m Launch.

48m When Vinnie wins.

Joe. 03-01-2010 08:25 AM

5.3 (ish) something at the start of the 5 mark ;)

62m When the SOV wins

Spike 03-01-2010 10:24 AM

Its a very hard one to predict
Alot of things work in its favour such as no major competition for the younger audience, it being the last series and it launching on a Sunday
But is that enough to beat the downward turn in ratings?
I'm expecting atleast a 5million average.

Yep i agree, it has so much going for it, as Tom listed above... also The Simpsons Movie Premiere is on before it which has been advertised loads.
Both should do well as both have been advertised a lot by C4.

12bigbrother12 03-01-2010 11:34 AM

2 or 3. People that is, not millions :p

Seriously, 4.2m for tonight, slipping to 2.9m for the overall series average.

fuzzylovin 03-01-2010 11:35 AM

It'll get some good ratings tonight, because its sunday and theres never anything else on. Plus people will wanna know whos going in, but if the people arnt so good, then the ratings will drop alot.

lil over 5mil tonight
will drop to about 3mil over whole series unless got some good peeps in there

KKBL 03-01-2010 11:40 AM
