Any1 getting A Level AS or any other results(i.e Scottish or Irish that you have received). Im getting my A level results next Thursday and I know I have failed

LOL, how can you know that you've failed BigSis??!! Live in hope, thats my motto for the day!!

Been about 8 years since I got my A'Level results, but I remember that summer waiting for the results. Hangs over you all summer, but once you get them whether they're good or bad, you can go out and get really drunk and forget about them. :elephant:

I have done my first year A levels and I am waiting on the results for them.

im hoping to go to uni hopefully but I dont think my results will be good enough. If they arent im going to go full time at my job that I do weekends

Business, Philosophy and Ethics.

I took Ethics at A2 last year I also did Philosphy for my course work (Was all bundled into Religious Studies) I also took A2 English Lang and Lit and a AS at Media studies

What did you think of Media studies? I wanted to do it but it was not an option.

i really enjoyed it, hoping for a good result in it:thumbs:. I didnt take it in first year as I felt i wasnt confident enough so took the GCSE in it and took the AS in my 2nd year

Cool I really wanted to do it but as I said it was not an option. What sort of things did you have to do for it?

WE had to do a project for coursework either using a video camera or Desk top publishing. Some of the projects were adverts, film trailers, adverts in a magazine and a press pack(That what I had) then we did 2 exams 1 was analysing a magazine and the 2nd 1 was 2 essay type questions on either film broadcast fiction which was soaps or documentary. How convient was 1 of the topics was reality tv and the 2 question in the documentary section was on reality tv

Sounds fun! What would you do at Uni and what one do you think you would go to?

Ive applied to local ones its looking more like Preston at the moment and Ive applied to do English but would have done Media
