Not had a favourite since Shilpa and the reason being is I just want to be entertained than really caring who wins. I was wondering if anyone else is in similar boat to me?

I love the show, but always have a favourite also...

Plus, your OP suggests that shilpa was actually entertaining, rather than winner by proxy because of overly PC viewers...

I'm in agreement that it's more about the show, or that's what I find :)
Although as it draws to the final I do find myself backing someone (and being really disappointed if they come 5th! Roddy! haha :joker: )

The show was entertaining cos of the bullying she recieved and how well she handled it. Society in General made the right call for Shilpa winning, bullying won't be tolerated. I think her handling of her torment showed why she was worthy winner too. That season CBB was very entertaining and Shilpa had her part like all the Housemates did to make it worth watching.

In that case freddie should have won last year :D

But yeah, they were a bit mean to her, but not racist...and its that acusation that ruined lives. And probably caused her to win.

I think celebrity big brother more than the normal one is purely entertainment. But the normal one has gone more that way too.

Beautiful, classy, fun loving, well mannered lady won over 3 of Britains best chavs. I dont think the PC brigade played there part, just people who know between right and wrong. Danielle Lloyd seems to be doing well for herself, still getting her tits out for the lads.

I'm not blowing it out of proportion but they did make racially suggestive remarks saying "she should **** off home" calling her "shilpa poppadom" and other nicknames, impersonating her accent...I'm just saying doing that on national television on a high profile show is probably not a good idea?

She actually didn't do the worst of it if anything she was just the more aggressive but not the most malicious. But it took terminal cancer to bring her round in the publics opinion...so probably not the best PR move at the time really even if it was just over reactionary PC brigade.
