i would assume because it would reveal more about big brother, they talk more and openly in the diary room but in the HL show they just edit out most of when BB talks

This.

They actually have psychologists talk normally with them to make sure they are okay etc

We are just presented with the big brother style diary room.

There used to be a prog named diary room uncut, although it was edited, but yet another prog they decided the viewers didn't need to see!
