Why do female housemates become so hated for flirting?
 

I read in the paper Jonas is seeing a girl named Olivia, yet nobody has mentioned her!

Yet Katia has been condemned for having a boyfriend and getting with Jonas!

It brought back memories of Noirin getting condemned for what happened with Siavash, whilst nothing was ever said about him and his girlfriend on the outside!

Women really get a raw deal on BB, I'm not female myself but can't understand why do women get such a harsh time on this show whilst guys are given umpteen chances! I think both men and women deserve to be judged equally for their actions!

fair point, but Jonas' relationship outside the house is not fact, just paper talk.

Siavash did get a lot of abuse if you ask me, even to the point of his GF appearing on BBBM a few times and Charlie made it clear in an argument what people thought of him.

Yeah but Noirin got treated terribly whilst he got 'victim' status! I could never get over Davina telling Noirin that Siavash had "given up a girlfriend for her" like as if that was the right thing to do!

No I know Siavash got slated towards the end of the show when his girlfriend started appearing on BBBM all the time, but he was treated like a victim when Isaac entered the house, Noirin got treated like she was the only one who had done wrong (I was on Digital Spy at the time)

Its a media/culture thing. They think that all women are supposed to be fragile little flowers to be plucked by some victorian gent in jompers where as nowadays women are riding in the saddle rather than wearing it. This portrayal is completely unrealistic and ridiculous.

but she was asked tonight about her bf,to which she said was some casual friends with benefits type thing,so she actually wasnt exclusive with her guy,jonas is (if the rumours are true)... so surely katia did get a slightly raw deal...

guess its not so important since she's now out..
