Live Lounge covers?
Whether or not they're BBC Radio Live Lounge is irrelevant - but are there any acoustic covers that you particularly enjoy?
Here's a few to get the ball rolling. VV Brown - Miss You (originally by the Rolling Stones) VV Brown - Human (originally the Killers) Paloma Faith - Sexy Chick (originally David Guetta/Akon) Noisettes - When You Were Young (originally The Killers) |
Sam Sparro - American Boy. Mr Hudson - Beat Again. It's amazing, I prefer it to Little Boots' cover, but unless you 'get' him, you probably won't like it. |

Really like the Sam Sparro one, Daren, but prefer Little Boots' to Mr. Hudson's.

Like the Ne-Yo one.
Not so sure about the Girls Aloud one, because I love the Robyn/Kleerup version intensely. Twilight: I've heard almost everyone cover Use Somebody LOL...Pixie Lott and VV Brown's versions are cute. But I think Hayley's voice suits the song better, sounds more...rockish. I like. You Me At Six - interesting! LOL. I enjoy covers that completely change the original song - see Scissor Sisters' Comfortably Numb, and the Paloma Faith one I posted. This is alright. |
I like Paloma Faith's Sexy Bitch<3

The next one is loads better than the studio version, she really shouldn't have released it (unless it was this version) |

This was done today I think, on Zane Lowe. Pretty much amazing.

I was a bit dubious about The Streets cover of Elton Johns' "Your song" at first but I love it now. Also really like the Amy Winehouse cover of "Cupid".
