Vinnie's criminal history for violence LINKS

It's a long list, and there are more that aren't listed here. No wonder Vinnie nearly lost it when he fell off the chair in the snug (see video on CBB official site) it appears he's straining himself keeping his violence in check on TV.

Dec. 2008. Yet another bar brawl with Vinnie.
Quote:

A friend of Mr Bickett said they were playing pool when Jones asked to play, and then seemed to take offence when someone asked if he was "that guy from X-Men".

Dec. 2003. Vinnie assaults Airline staff.
Quote:

Soccer hard-man-turned-actor Vinnie Jones yesterday admitted assaulting an airline passenger and drunkenly claiming he could have a flight crew "murdered for £3000 ($7000)".

Nov. 1997.
Quote:

Following a domestic incident involving one of his neighbours, Vinnie Jones has today been charged at St Albans police station with assault and has been bailed to appear at St Albans Magistrates' Court.

Jan. 2003. Indecent assault inquiry. Theft with violence inquiry also against Vinnie.
Quote:

Separate allegations of assault lodged against Jones by three women following a late night party in Cape Town last Friday were still being investigated... The driver had alleged that Jones stole his camera and assaulted him in Fresnaye, Cape Town, on the night of the party...It was reported last weekend that Stefane Loots, Leanne Loots and Catherine Taylor were at the home of a mutual friend in Fresnaye and that an intoxicated Jones allegedly swore at one woman, sexually assaulted another woman and "almost drowned" a third.

1995.
Quote:

angered by anti-Wimbledon comments, he threw toast at Gary Lineker and bit the nose of a reporter from The Mirror. It made, naturally, huge headlines.

In the aftermath, he contemplated suicide. He [Vinnie] even strode down the garden with his loaded 20-bore shotgun to accomplish the deed in the woods.

And the lists goes on.........

In fact, makes me like him more, at least he is what he is, and he is obviously trying to work on controlling his anger as he has proven he can bear being locked up with intolerable idiots without snapping. Better than fake Stephen who will threaten to slay/decapitate someone he doesn't like over something that he was wrong about, but only say it behind their back.

I would rather be punched in the face than stabbed in the back any day.

Hes admirable and deserves respect for taking a grip of his life and changing it. Everyone deserves a chance.

WTF??? How has he done that exactly? Vinnie has consistently been arrested and charged for many assaults over more than 20 years! He hasn't actually stopped! The last one was only a short while ago.

Another odd thing about Vinnie and his arrests for assault. He has been arrested and investigated for dozens of assaults but many of the people are scared to give evidence against him so they back down and the case fails due to a witness too scared to give evidence - that smacks of Vinnie or others on his behalf maybe intimidating witnesses - not surprising really, Vinnie prides himself on his 'hard man', 'gangster' lifestyle.

Do you realise Sov SPAT on a bouncer for no reason? Thats far worse than kicking off

Zippy 19-01-2010 09:05 PM

We all know Vinnies a tuffnut with a violent past. Sheesh, he became famous for grabbing Gazzas nuts.

If you wanna really do damage to his chances of winning I think you'd be better taking the "he helped a granny cross the road" angle.

Some of the assault charges against Mister Jones were lets say self defence with a little on top, in other words he was hit first but returned more than the law views at defence.

Iceman 19-01-2010 09:18 PM

So, who cares..........wont change my opinion of him.....just like some wouldnt change their opinion of sov....
