The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I got it today :D

Stu 22-01-2010 06:49 PM

Give it a few days and you will be a pale, skinny mess trying to bribe the security in Tesco to help you attack invisible mudcrabs.

Scarlett. 22-01-2010 06:52 PM

LMAO xD I cant wait! I already had the old version (which I need to trade in :3)

andyman 22-01-2010 07:44 PM

Great game, still got plenty to do but I have completed Knights of the Nine..

I also have Fallout 3 but not the GOTY edition.. Come with 5 DLC.. Fecking hell!

Both games worth every penny. :)

Lol with what Stu said, I know that feeling after locking myself away from the world one weekend to get stuck in the game.. Time flys by.

Scarlett. 22-01-2010 07:45 PM

Haha, I am going to start Knights of the Nine now :p

andyman 22-01-2010 08:00 PM

The Knights of the Nine kinda just happend coz I always travel around and I'm bit of a praying alter *****..

Been playing it for 2 years! I always leave the main missions till later and do one now and then..

The new Fallout should be good, and I'm sure plenty of DLC will follow then the GOTY edition.. I nearly did a jizz in my pants.

Stu 22-01-2010 08:03 PM

Yeah you can't really 'start' the Knights Of The Nine because it's a bit of a bitch having to go to all the altars. Best thing to do is play the game like usual and eventually you will have bumped into every altar.

andyman 22-01-2010 08:04 PM

Did you get all 5 DLC for Fallout 3?

lol I found that out xD I have visited quite a few already though,a nd its better than doing the main quest again (I deleted my old file xD)

Yup, Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta :p

Stu 22-01-2010 08:35 PM

I always tell myself I'm going to make a master chatacter who has all questlines done but once I get a few hours in I end up creating a new character because I love the first few hours of just running around establishing your characters personality and skills.

The furthest I have gotten with a single character was like level 42 which just made the game more tedious. My weapons would shatter to **** in a matter of minuets. The game levels up with you which is a bit of a balls. Once you get to about 11 the bandits start to carry the fancy equipment so that's all you need really.

haha, thats one thing about Fallout 3, it only has 30 levels, unlike Oblivion

Morrowind had a bizzare unlimited system where if you were demented enough you could level up your character to the point where pressing the jump button would kill you on impact of the landing and you could run so fast the game was unplayable.

Whoa! O_O lol, that would have been fun xD

andyman 22-01-2010 08:57 PM

They should make a GTA style game.. 2090 Greater London with countryside and small towns.. Maybe, maybe not.
Oh well, I did have high hopes for the next-gen Getaway but that has been put in the bin.

Scarlett. 22-01-2010 08:58 PM

I wish there was a London free roam game [current gen]

andyman 22-01-2010 08:59 PM

Off topic but CBB7 Stephanie looks hot..

Stu 22-01-2010 09:01 PM

Yeah I would love Elder Scrolls in a modern setting. Deus Ex/Blade Runner kind of vibe.

I hope the next one is set in Valenwood and Elsweyr. The Wod Elf and Khajiit gaffs. Plenty of varied landscape as opposed to just trees and greenery, though that was fucking gorgeous.

Black Marsh would be good too.

andyman 22-01-2010 09:01 PM

Off topic again.. Seen loads of Just Cause 2 gameplay, it looks fun, action packed with a huge world and good graphics.. :)

andyman 22-01-2010 09:04 PM

Been on Fallout Wiki.. Intresting, time split after World Word II..

Brilliant website! :D I read the whole timeline leading upto the great war, its strange that one day we could end up nuking ourselves too

Stu 22-01-2010 09:07 PM

The Elder Scrolls wiki is ace too. Just pages and pages of pointless information.

They have pages on even the most meaningless of houses and NPC's. It's actually pretty disturbing. I spent hours reading up on Morrowind's religion and politics.
