Should C4 change the vote format to SAVE during BB11?

It's become commonplace now for a housemate to win for what they are not as opposed to what they are.

Not until the middle stages. I think vote to evict is best for the first half and it gives people time to come out of their shell. I like to see people grow, not fake who they are just so they get votes.

Vote to save is just as flawed imo.

its only a flaw when there is more than 2 people up and most of the time that doesnt happen

I've said for a while that three housemates should be up each week and make it a vote to save. The 'entertaining' housemates would stay in for longer!!

But what about giving people a chance to come out of their shell? In BB9 week 1, a vote to save between Mario, Lisa, Stephanie and Luke would have resulted in Lisa being evicted. She was a massive character in the latter half of the series and practically supported the entire show. A vote to save would result in the same characters dominating the show from start to finish.

I don't think there should be first week evictions anyway.

I get your point though. But more often than not, the entertaining housemates are voted out too early. I think the flaw with the current system is bigger than the benefits!

Or they could do vote to evict, but have a couple of 'Cull the Dull' evictions in the series where viewers vote to save.

Vote to save will show who is liked, we have had the evict vote to long and it out weighs any against the vote to save.. But a mix with the voting system would help..

Tonight was more Sisqo v Stevie with the vote and thats why the both got more than Ivana.. Vote to save would have given us a better picture.. At least with vote to save the public will not waste their cash on a boring housemate.. Ivana would have gone!

Yes. I hated the Freddie vs Marcus and Sara vs Lisa evictions:(. Vote to save would enable us to try and keep the entertainment and also try to rid the bores lol.

But when the massive characters go, it completely changes the house dynamics and more often than not someone steps into the new 'hate' role or something big happens anyway. The only real exception to that is BB8 which was rubbish anyway.

Vote to save doesn't show who is liked- Bea was despised yet survived a vote to save.

Wrong! Look at tonights show.. Yep! Two camps and Ivana out in the cold and being saved..

A mix with the voting format could be the best way, one week of save and the next to evict, and so on.. BB11 will fail if no change, but vote to evict earns more votes than to save, but that has nothing to do with BB tv show.

BB11 won't fail with a vote to evict if it has a good mix, vote to evict hasn't lasted this long for no reason. Plus BB is a hate fuelled show, more people will vote to evict someone on BB than they will to save someone, purely because people are more negative.

2 up and it should be vote to evict, more and it should be vote to SAVE!

Tonights eviction was a total fk up and BB11 will fail if no change is put in place to combat the huge voting flaw..

As I said, this is the 18th series where they've used vote to evict, so it can't be that catastrophic. BB11 won't fail with a vote to evict if the housemates are good enough.

.. People don't hate boring dull housemates. Another flaw with vote to evict if more than two housemates are up for the public vote.

... with the equivalent flaw in vote to save being that the same housemates will dominate the series and we won't get the chance to see other housemates develop or just see other housemates. BB10 would have been The Noirin Show until the final, and the week we had of that was bad enough. In turn, Bea would've always stayed as the fun loving hippy.

I always think vote to evict is bad. The least disliked will stay, rather than the most liked. This is not necessarily the same person. A double negative is not necessarily a positive. Ivana survived because Stephen and Sisqo were disliked by more people, not because she was particularly popular.

Those that we hate make the TV SHOW worth watching, maybe you enjoy the Ivana's in BB ... A voting mix would help BB11, plus vote to save would have given us the true result with tonights evict.

Vote to evict is fine, its been that way since the start and with 1 year left they might as well keep it that way. BB Aus completely bombed the year they changed their voting system.

and yet another flaw with vote to save is that the evictions wouldn't be worth watching because the majority of evictees would be boring. That completely takes away what BB is all about- the eviction is meant to be the highlight of the week, not an anticlimax. And then we'd end up with too many big characters in the final, all with about a 5 minute interview each.

Well Ivana is a great housemate and gives so much to the TV SHOW.. You sound like you enjoy dull housemates? I have watched BB since day 1 and the flaws keep on mounting with each series.. Right now I am watching Ivana due to her being liked by the public.. Oh wait.. Do they like her?.. Another flaw :p

But my system of 2 up means to evict and 3+ means to save would give us a better picture insted of a flawed bs negative one that only fks up the TV SHOW and makes it so fking intresting... Maybe Ivana is so amazing, have I missed something that makes her good to watch to fill the HL SHOW with?..
