What did you dream of last night?

What did you dream of last night?

I dreamt I was with Emily Parr at her house. She said her mum was pregnant with twin boys I think :S Strange. Or she might have meant herself? :S

Aww please tell all.

Smithy 26-01-2010 04:02 PM

The weirdest dream ever!

I was a cow in a field and i was having a fight with other cows about who owned it :S

Stu 26-01-2010 04:05 PM

Me and three fellas were drinking in my nans house at about five in the morning and I was leaving for New York at eight. One of the fellas was a really quiet lad, the other was a cocky but funny guy, and the other was a really dangerous looking dude with a leather jacket and a greasy ponytail. I had six cans of Dutch Gold and two cans of Tuborg. Something seemed dangerous about the whole situation.

That's all I remember.

Jayson 26-01-2010 04:10 PM

Someone who's face was blurred was talking backwards to me, trying to warn me about something. Then after a load of other weird **** happened I got abducted by huge aliens that ate me alive.

All in all it was a pretty fxcked up dream.

Stu 26-01-2010 04:18 PM

I always wake up early so I can go back to sleep and dream. Dreams seem much easier to recall when I have a lie in.

I can't believe how whacky some of your dreams are. Mine are almost always grounded in reality but with all the facts and features of real life somehow changed slightly in bizarre and abstract ways.

For instance, I might have a fairly standard dream that takes place in my house, but the rooms might be in different areas.

Dreaming of pregnancy represents a new direction in life.

Fighting indicates inner turmoil and part of you is conflicting with another part of you. It can also represent a struggle.

Alcohol in dreams represents seeking pleasure or escape.

Being abducted by aliens symbolises fears in changing surroundings or invasion of privacy and personal space.

I think you can only remeber dreams when your mind is in a state where it is neither fully awake/asleep. So you dream in deep sleep but do not remeber them.

Does it matter that i ate the other cow?

Tom4784 26-01-2010 04:23 PM

All I can remember is sitting in a white room waiting for something. I'm ussually quite good at remembering dreams but I can't remember much of last night's.

You remember 10% of your dream if you wake up during REM (rapid eye movement when your eyes follow your dream). You don't remember dreams if you stop dreaming then wake up. Thats why you can never finish a dream off.

Dunno about that one, but apparently you/other people/animals in dreams are usually irrelevant, its meant to be actions that hold meaning.Dunno about that one though :joker:

Jords 26-01-2010 04:29 PM

Cant remember it. :(

Not remembering dreams is also down to the flood of thoughts that come over you when you wake up. If you actually stop those thoughts and have a clear mind when you wake up, you are more likely to remember the dream.

That's why your always going to remember a dream more when you slowly drift out of sleep at two in the afternoon - a fond hobby of mine - as opposed to having your alarm wake you in the morning.

I have also suddenly remember dreams entire days afterwards when something in reality triggers the subconcious [E.g. you get into a car and suddenly remember a dream you had that took place in a car].

M X 26-01-2010 04:40 PM

Can't remember much, but I was with Sarah [my friend] and i was like 'i like dora's [my friend] house' and Sarah said 'it's not a house. it's a howooooooooooooose'

like a wolf :S

I was at the metrocentre and some vampire was there, asked me if I wanted to become one.

Then next minute I am jumping into a river that turned out to be full of rats :S

You can never remember a full dream though, you only ever remember a fraction of it even when you think its clear as day! I'm fascinated by it all ...
