Looking back at the Jonas & Tree debacle
 

I was watching the week 1 archives last night and made a stunning realization. When Jonas turned down the tree and got punished, Sisqo agreed with his view and even went to complain to the diary room that he didnt know Big Brother was all about pitting the contestants against each other and all sorts of subterfuge. Dane said he wouldve done the task without question. I realized that it's likely that Jonas and Sisqo have never watched Big Brother before (jonas said he doesnt watch TV and Sisqo said he's 'married to his music'). Dane however has watched the show, living in England and all that, and he knew what the premise of BB was all about. Think about it, if Jonas hadnt revealed to them about the existence of the Tree of Temptation, many of them would never even know that such a thing existed and that certain things people did were secret tasks. He really blew the cover of the tree and spoiled the whole premise of the tree for the rest of the crew. Imagine, Stephanie, Stephen, Sisqo, Sov would never even know there was a tree. (Unless Alex or Dane would turn down the tree for THEIR task, not knowing the significance of the tree.) But at least now everyone knew better that they HAD to obey the tree...

Interesting thoughts, the series could have been completly different, you're right!

True,i love the tree it was great viewing especially with nicola and i like the way he said you can piss off now lol.

jonas is a big bb fan, he does watch. he's even appeared on bblb and stuff.

Well Jonas' favourite reality TV show is BB he even said it himself

Yeah the series would of been much better if Jonas didnt tell everyone about the tree but meh

Jonas has appeared on BBLB???? When??? Wow, I did nt know htat. he said he doesnt watch tv on one o the earlier highlight shows.

Yeah Basshunter spoiled the whole thing, would have been great if he didnt blab, he just did it to try and look good.

However, they have done well with the tree and have set tasks that they dont automatically think ITS A TASK.

Tree of Temptation to return for BB11 in a different form, and if somebody blabs about it, evict them straight away as punishment please. :)

If they bring it back in a different form for BB11, they ought to have a few back up versions of it, so that if one is uncovered [ie. HM A tells the group about the Gnome, then they change it to a backup Flower].

I said this about several times since it happened and was ignored but W/e

Anyways, Jonas has watched Big Brother before he was on Big Mouth in the summer and I know I wouldnt go on a show if I didnt watch it so he obviously had watched it.
