I assumed the hassle of the house. People whispering, chattiong etc and then perhaps the stresses of how they were being perceived by the public. Maybe not worth the stress levels for their short time there and so just finish it .. my take on it anyway, others may see differently.

just because it doesn't seem like a reasonable reason to you to break up with someone doesn't make it a lie.
