THe pictures of Vinnie are actually very good. But I've bolded the parts that made me go "huh?" after teasing him relentlessly for a month he's suddenly Alex's best buddy? And no mention of Dane, whom he was closest to in the house? Meh.

VINNIE JONES took on the role of a no-nonsense landlord in the Celebrity Big Brother house, sorting out some seriously dodgy characters.
And the movie hardman is going into the hospitality game for real by launching his own English boozer in America with Hollywood pal JASON STATHAM.

The news will knock the wind out of 50 CENT. Last month, the rapper was banging on about wanting to team up with Vinnie to open a chain of British-style pubs.

But Vin wants to make it an all-Brit affair with best pal Jason - and even name the watering holes after the pair's hit 2000 movie Snatch.

The ex footie ace popped into the glamour of Bizarre HQ before he heads back to Mulholland Drive in LA.

He told me: "Me and Jay have been talking about it for about a year.

"We were thinking The Snatch Bar or something like that down in Santa Monica. We're going to do it, it's just a question of us finding the time.

"Jay has been working so much and so have I. That and golf. People say, 'What do you mean you've been working?' I'm working on my handicap.

"The pubs will happen. We had a great spot right opposite the pier in Santa Monica. They just wanted too much rent. Me and Jay went to look at it and we had three other investors, all Brits."

Freaked

I suggested he could get Snatch director GUY RITCHIE involved because he had a few quid after his divorce from MADONNA. But Vin joked: "He's got his child maintenance to pay though hasn't he?"

When the big man was in the CBB house, Bizarre spoke to Vin's neighbour QUENTIN TARANTINO, who backed him for victory.

And the former Chelsea, Leeds and Wimbledon star said he couldn't wait to get back to LA to start winding up the director again.

He said: "Did he tell you he has to drive past my Union Flag every day? I saw him one day - I think he's got an old green Rover - and I gave him a little wave.

"I did Hell Ride for him where he was executive producer.

"I really freaked him out because when they set fire to me he couldn't believe I was up for doing it myself.

"I just missed out on his film Inglourious Basterds. It was between me and one other bloke for a part.

"He knows where I am, Quentin. He said some great things after Snatch which I've never forgotten."

Just as well really. You wouldn't want to knock on Vinnie's door and ask for the music to be turned down if he had said otherwise.

THE hardman is brushing up on his horseriding for his next big movie - which he is sworn to secrecy about.

But he did admit: "My horseriding can definitely improve.

"The last time I was on one was in Mongolia. I lived with a Mongolian family for two weeks for research on this film role.

"I have to say, doing that was easier than Big Brother.

"Anything is easier than Big Brother. It was like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest in there... and I was Jack Nicholson."

CBB winner ALEX REID and his new wife JORDAN are going to visit Vinnie in LA.

He said: "They're gonna come over. She saw my wife Tanya at the party after the show.

"They exchanged numbers and are coming over in March. They're going to stay with us.

"When I first came in the house I was sure I was going to have a tear-up with him. But he was all right. As I said, he's a lovable prat."

VIN was completely uninspired by the first footie match being screened in 3D - but his reasoning had nothing to do with not rating the incredible technology.

He explained : "I always watch football in 3D anyway.

"Normally on a Sunday I'm always so drunk from Saturday night that it all looks a bit wonky."

THE sportsman in Jonah, as his team-mates used to call him, is still alive and well.

In the weak-hand, three-dart challenge he scored a whopping 116, the highest score of any visitor to Bizarre HQ other than PHIL "THE POWER" TAYLOR.

Vinnie said: "You mug. I've got a dartboard at home."

Harsh.

The top five scorers are:

2. Vinnie Jones - 116.

3. Gordon Smart - 100.

4. Serge Pizzorno - 80.

5. Rio Ferdinand - 6.

Vinnie has also set his sights on the 2010 Bizarre Masters golf tournament.

He said: "My only ambition for the year is getting my handicap down.

"I'm up for your golf day... but I'll take the trophy, like I did at the darts."
