Setanta's go at this top 100 thingy!

Yeah, I know, I'm hardly being very original here and chances are my taste in music will leave a fair few cold, but I thought it would be a nice way to while away the time and possibly introduce people to some wonderful artists and hopefully get their own input on matters.

Chances are I'll be kicking myself over missing some of my favs because I'm just winging this but yeah, it's going to be enjoyable having a crack at it. Here goes, and in no particular order.

The Stooges, The Clash and Nirvana. Great choices.

Enjoy the Silence is a fantastic song, too.

Do you think by the time you reach adulthood, you'll still be fans of Jedward?

It's not about age, I'm sure they have fans of all ages - it's about longevity. Will they still be making music in 10 years time. Hmmm, unlikely.

I can't find Van's on youtube, but I absolutely adore the song. This cover will have to do but Morrison's original version is sublime.

I'm not really doing it as a concise list. Just winging it, but yeah, that's a classic track. Absolutely brilliant.

I think No Diggity is a classic of it's type. Not a huge fan of that particular genre but it's a doozie in my opinion. Kate is magic.

Jumping Jack Frost.. Great DJ.

The Pixies in this list?

setanta 06-02-2010 05:37 PM

I'm not sure Andy - running out of places to put songs ins. Crazy when that happens cuz I didn't expect it! Might replace one of the earlier songs with Caribou actually.
