BB11 to include mother and daughter?

Big Brother 11 producers are reportedly looking for mothers and daughters to go in the final series together.

According to the Daily Star, auditionees were asked about family members who might be willing to join them in the house. Previous series have included couples and twins, but only once in Celebrity Big Brother has there been a mother-daughter duo, when Jade Goody and her mum joined the house.

Lyn Morgan, 64, and her daughter Kate, 26, appeared at the Cardiff auditions last month, while Big Brother 9 star Mikey Hughes recently interviewed a mother and daughter trying out in Glasgow.

"I want to go in with my daughter Hazel. We want to be the first non-celebrity mother and daughter," one hopeful told Hughes. "We've had twins, we've had boyfriends and girlfriends, but never a mother and daughter."

The final series of Big Brother will air on Channel 4 in the summer.

Before I went in for my interview in the 2nd round.. a mother and daughter next to me were auditioning together.. the mother got through to the 3rd round but I did not know if the daughter got through to the 3rd round.. because she was still waiting to be told a yes or a no whilst I was already a told "a no" then I just left the building.. lol

Oh also there was a boyfriend and girlfriend auditioning who I met in the queue as well.

People in the house shouldn't know each other, they've tried it before and it wasn't exactly entertaining, so what is the need to try again

Yeah true.. the couples who have been on before have been poo.

BigBroFanHere 10-02-2010 03:33 PM

Everyone that goes in shouldn't know each other, people who know each other might just stay together all the time and might not mingle with the rest of the group, the mother/daughter may be embarrased to do something if a family relative is in the house with them

More Daily Star lies. Either that or an incredibly stupid mother and daughter who are quiet happy to talk to the papers and ruin their chances of entering the house.

whats their obsession with couples?
they had the twins, then mario + lisa followed by rex and nicole, last year karly + kenneth then noirin and that yank (forget his name)
why dont they just choose the best people from the auditions? instead of hand picking people to follow the script they have laid out.

Maybe they are expecting a duo like Ant and Dec. lol.

Yeah seperate people are better and an entertaining duo usually emerges like Dicky and Dolly (Richard and Lea) from bb7!

I read daily star and stopped reading.

Beastie 10-02-2010 03:44 PM

However we have had the twin thing.. and now I am thinking I don't even want triplets in. We need ABOUT 14 people to go in on launch night.. all indivdual and not knowing each other at all. Best way really.

Nicole and Rex
Kenneth and Karly
Mario and Lisa
Sam and Amanda

When are they going to get this into their ****ing heads?
NO ONE CARES. No one wants to watch people who know eachother it defeats the entire purpose of the show.

Yes it was WOW and Amazing in BB9 when they did it but its stupid now.

Dunno, if they find a couple that argue a lot, maybe that'd be funny. A proper break up in the house would be entertaining as they wouldn't be able to get away from each other, bahahaha.

This is similar to the senario I "revealed" on Tibb last year! I did reasonably well in the auditions last year and I met a mother and son who made it far into the audition process, also I revealed Tom would be entering (at the time noone believed me!)

What about estranged relatives

i agree i filled in both application and the question "what family member would be most willing to ener" was never assked

Fom 10-02-2010 05:21 PM

I think it would be entertaining... and its an experiment, the whole show is an experiment... so why not.

Mario and Lisa were close to breaking up, just before he left.
The Public saved their relationship, if he had stayed any longer they would of been at eachothers throats.

It would involve a Stupid English Girl who is trying to enjoy herself but would be too scared because her mum is constantly licking her arse.

The Experiment originally involved putting STRANGERS into a House together, obviously they forgot about this whole concept during BB8 as a desperate attempt to get more ratings.
