Please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to.

Iceman 12-02-2010 12:41 AM

That's amazing!

Do you know whereabouts that is? I'm thinking New orleans as a guess??

Shaun 12-02-2010 12:41 AM

It was drawn in Canada apparently. *looks*

Pretty trippy stuff, and would be extremely difficult to do on such a large scale. I'm trying to get my head around how you'd do it and how you'd maintain the composition. They must have a particular point where they walk to and view it everytime, just to see if it's going according to plan. Otherwise it would be a fecking disaster.

Princess 12-02-2010 12:48 AM

That's incredible!

Shaun 12-02-2010 12:49 AM

Yeah, in the article there's another picture from another angle and it looks just wrong.

I love street art though, some guy did some here once of these tigers, they were pretty awesome. -feels odd compulsion to buy chalk-

Hopskotch was the ****.

Yep, they have to have a reference point, otherwise the whole thing would look shi$e. But on such a large scale it would be so time consuming. Magic though.

I really want to do one on my driveway now for the laugh. Does it mention how long it takes him to create one piece?

setanta 12-02-2010 12:58 AM

My head is wrecked even thinking about how he does it. So painstaking.

setanta 12-02-2010 01:00 AM

Wow Nathan, some of those pics on his site are spectacular. Did you see the Butterfly? Amazing stuff.

Shaun 12-02-2010 01:03 AM

Says here:

That took him a day. So to complete it must take, what, 2 or 3 at least? And that looks like one of the murals, rather than 3D art.

Twilight 12-02-2010 01:03 AM

Whoa thats amazing<33

King Gizzard 12-02-2010 01:03 AM

I'd say the 3d ones take a bit longer though. They'd be very time consuming.

Did you see the Batman and Robin one? So good.

GypsyGoth 12-02-2010 01:10 AM

Very clever.
