Of mice and men...

I mean the book btw. I am reading it in english now and watching too! I heard someone say what happened at the end and I am so upset that it ends that way!

Anyone else ever read it?

I was well shocked cause i found out my dad read it when he was at school! lol

Jords 12-02-2010 03:26 PM

Of Mice and Men is the first piece of coursework I had to do for English, cant really remember how it goes though.

MissKittyFantastico 12-02-2010 03:26 PM

I read it for English at school as well, and we watched the film, both brilliant and so sad!

Yeah i get why he did it and everything but the last 15 secs or so it shows them walking and then he puts his arm on george. :bawling:

Fantastic book, I really liked it, the last two chapters are fantastic especially the second to last.

The film is quite good too, George is hot in the movie hehe. I foudn the ending for absupt in the movie really shocked me.

My favourite character is Curley's wife, such a complex make up to her, for example the difference between when we first see her, to her final scene, to the scene in Crooks' shed.

I am looking forward to reading the last bit.
