Why there was no auditions at Newcastle, Birmingham and Belfast...
Think of how expensive it is to hire out the main venue of the city for a day.
Then times it by two or three for next day auditions (manchester + london) and call-backs. Then think of how much people are paid - the producers, the runners, the security, the venue staff, the casting team. By no longer including Birmingham, Newcastle and Belfast they are saving LOADS of money to use on BB11. Plus...if people want it bad enough, they will travel to the venue. It might take you a 5hour train journey or something and cost quite a bit, but if you want it you'll go. This way it is eliminating all the people who are just auditioning on a whim. |
Because they seem to go for boring people and dont know where to find the entertainers so dont go to Belfast and Newcastle.

yeah is a bit rough...maybe it shows how much u want it by travelling

They shouldnt bloody have to travel, why should the Northern Irish and the Geordies have to travel while everyone else can just get a taxi to the venue. |
well they havent churned out any hm's of substanvce so i wouldnt bother either, boo you missed out - watch it from your couch and move on whinging was so naughties

tbh i dnt think money should be that much of an issue considering its the last one, and the amount of money they forked out on the celebs

I heard from a mate that the London Auditions were packed (i think on teh 2nd day) because all the people from Newcastle, Belfast etc... wanted to audition so much that they travelled to London.
I think my mate said something about 10,000 at London. And heard about 60,000 altogether. Not sure what he said exactly. He said that he waited in line for 5 hours,. |
and good on them for having the vcommitment to travel
|
I travelled by train. Wish I got a round further this year but hey ho.
