The Scripts Breakeven- Unusual Popularity in the US
 

Its at #28 at the moment in the Official US Hot 100. Did they have a performance over there or something? Because its the first of their songs to get into the Top 100.

It will probably soon outpeak the UK peak which rarely happens for a UK artist to get a higher peak in the US, the UK peak was #21. Should have done much better, its their best song IMO.

Awww I love Breakeven,it reminds me of the Take That tour. It might have been on a telly show or something.

I'm guessing it's just doing well on radio, which is a big factor in the US charts. I doubt it's doing well digitally.

Rory mentioned its recent popularity to me...I don't know why. But meh, it's a brilliant song, so I'm happy.

Yeah, they're gaining serious popularity over here. I knew the song from when it was popular in the UK like a year ago, and now i'm hearing it overplayed on radio and having it be people's statuses and i'm just like "stop"

I really do like the song! Just I tend to not like songs when they're popular.

Breakeven and If You See Kay are the 2 best songs on the album. I really want IYSK to be released, unlikely though.

I love The Script. I saw them live way before they got their album released or anything, and I remember they performed Breakeven as one of the songs and it was amazing. They were supporting The Hoosiers.

Yeah The Script are amazing live. Best support act I've ever seen.
