I dont know what to trust (Internet and Security)

In the last hour it has been saying that I have loads of viruses on my computer that are harmful.

So it told me to run Security Tools, so i did, it found virusus and then said Remove, but you need to pay to remove it, and I dont have a card online anyways.

It keeps saying my computer is affected and to remove with Security Tools, and a nmessage comes up every 2 minutes or so, but i always click Continue Unprotected.

I dont know what to do, it also says it can steal my card details... unlikely as ive never bought anything online so thats unlikely LOL.

It says activate antvirus protection to prevent data loss.
I dont know... HELP!!

Do you have an anti-virus software already? If not, get AVG for free :)

It might be a pop-up trying to trick you into buying fake anti-virus software. Put up a screenshot of it.

There is that virus software that is fake and tells you have loads of viruses when you do a scan, I think it downloads itself on your PC. It might be malware

It is fake. turn off your computer and turn it on again.

Try either of these free remote virus scan and removal tools. Both are from reliable companies and can be trusted. Then look for decent antivirus software. trend offers you a free trial.

While AVG has a free version it is updated later than the fully paid for version.

They do require you to stay connected to the internet for a while, depending on the size of your hard drive, your connection speed etc. But both will do a good job.
