Don't you just hate that? You tell someone something in confidence and trust them with a secret, make them promise not to tell anyone and the next day everyone knows. It's like WTF? :mad:

^Why the hell can't you or Patrick keep secrets? Well ok fair enough, but if someone wanted to tell you a secret would you promise them you wouldn't tell anyone else? Or would say but I must warn you, if I get bored I'll blab?

That's exactly why I never tell my secrets. :) One thing life taught me is "Trust no one".

Very true Remy, though I trust a few, but tend to keep most things to myself, that way, I know who knows what!

yea but if yuo are close to some one and ask them not to tell any 1 then thay should keep it to them selfs its like when they ask me to keep somthing to my self i do so why carnt they do the same !

because the person you tells goes to another person and says don't tell anyone but..........and so on and so on

Easy to keep a secret :) tell my closest friend though and he dont tell no one.

You learn by your mistakes. I am sure you won't be telling that person any secrets again. It's nice to really trust someone, but unfortunately those people come few and far between in life, unless you are lucky.

On average if you say that to someone they then tell 2 people. This is a fact.

It's only happened to me once thankfully. I had a habit of trusting the wrong people in my teens.

"Do not tell anyone" or "Do not panick" people normally react opposite.


But if a friend told me her secret, I will keep it secret.
This is the key to having trust.


Also at work, for example, I know all staff's salaries how much they earn, so I am the right person for the job.

Im good at keeping secrets. Phillip you need to learn just not to tell that person anything any more. I used to love knowing people's secrets but usually it can end in disaster or someone has said well so and so knew all along then people will say "why didnt you tell me" ahh I don't know lol

I tend to get told a lot of secrets by my friends because generally I'm known as the guy who couldn't really give a crap about others problems so I am less likely to repeat them to anyone else. It's a role I enjoy, really. I was never one for discussing private things with mates so I never talk about it, so in turn everyone trusts me with their secrets and I never tell them back.
