Good, I can't wait. I hope he turns things around and doesn't just take Kim's attitude that it's good enough already so don't bother trying. It may be the most watched soap but that doesn't mean it's good atm.

To be fair, it is quite bad right now, well compared to how it was up until 07 it is.

Corrie beats EE in the ratings hands down most of the time. Only silly fanboys who read trashy magazined like Inside Soap vote for stupid awards anyway plus Corrie HAS one best soap a number of times.

But, Eastenders has won the most times!
and imo its better - more action going on.. stuff.

EE get record ratings because it was its 25th and it was live,thats all, Corrie will probably match it, maybe even beat it.

it has, just not in the past couple of years, it won Best soap at the soap awards a couple of years ago anyway.

It hasn't one all of them.

Anyway, not everyone votes for awards, and in proper surveys like this one: http://www.people.co.uk/news/tm_head...name_page.html , Corrie comes out on top always.
