Yes, and can you write in English? Apparently it is a language common to Great Britain which we are all supposed to be able to speak! Perhaps all posters describing housemates past and present as "thick" should put their own house in order first?

cymru 04-07-2002 09:08 PM

agreeing with you there oldgit ...........im a bit more interested in the workings of the show..........what they are trying to create with all the experimental things they are throwing into the mix ..very clever ...not allways the most entertaining for the rest of the general public .

Mark 04-07-2002 09:26 PM

Threads are being shut down because members are being nasty towards people in the house.

I know everyone is entitled to an opinion, but when this opinion is so nasty people on the board are getting upset then the thread has to be closed.

Its much nicer that we can all get along and talk about the housemates without having to use ***'s all the time.

I do get quite a lot of reported posts, especially since BB3. The time between BB2 and BB3 I didn't have to close one thread that I can remember.

When people start taking other people into consideration before they post then I will stop closing posts.

If you don't like a housemate, then you can say - just try to avoid using **'s and words which may offend people.

It seems every time one person says something nasty others begin to have a go and then it turns out to a full scale war!

So play nice and the threads can stay open :wavey:

Mark.

just concerned that posts are getting to be one liners lol etc .........i dont try and use *****....but prob have done .......trying to raise the tone with this post ............need ppl to stop going shes thick and stupid with out backing it up ............like you would be required to do in a debate ...........maybe some get offended by the most inane things ....but hey who am i to say what an individual gets upset about .............guarding this thread with out lives hahahahahah

lovin ya work

I am with the Mod on this, there is no reason why we as adults or young people ca not voice an opinion without it including profanities. I am all for a laugh but not at the expense of upsetting someone else, so come on lets have some real comments for us to get our teeth into, something that we can all make real comments about.

Well said Summer :hello:

This forum has some very young members and we don't like closing threads or banning people but we have to take responsibility for all our members. Therefore, serious bad language and cruel comments about housemates can't be allowed.

But we love a good debate, and surely we can do that without offending other members

\'Talk properly\' please

I've seen Mark's comment about this on another thread. The use of text-speak on this site has increased dramatically this week and has become very irritating.
I completely agree with Mark's request to talk properly and avoid insulting comments.
This has been a great site and I hope it continues to be.

Yes, please, let's use the language properly. I am being dissuaded from posting by the plethora of mind numbing one liners
